The BenRiach Rum Finish whisky 70cl 46%vol. is one of the four limited edition whiskies Wood Finish Series of BenRiach. In this version the Single Malt whisky from the Speyside region has been aged for 15 years in American bourbon barrels and has been finished in dark rum barrels from the Jamaican island of the Caribbean. Thanks to this combination of barrels the BenRiach Rum Finish Whisky gains complexity both in nose and mouth, with notes of toffee, spices, cinnamon, sultana in a background that reminds us of rum.

We found BenRiach in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland, northeast of Morayshire. A Speyside-style distillery, built in 1898 by John Duff, collects water from Burnside Springs, which runs beneath the distillery.

Nose: Toffee, notes of sweet rum, vanilla and with a different density in root.

br />Mouth: In the mouth BenRiach Rum Finish confirms the Toffee, notes of cinnamon, apricots and chocolate appear. It is oily, dense, the result of not being filtered cold. Licorice with salty touches, with slight herbaceous bitterness.

Final: Long and medium persistence, rum and sultana.
