We found BenRiach in the heart of the Speyside region of Scotland, northeast of Morayshire. A Speyside-style distillery, built in 1898 by John Duff, collects water from Burnside Springs, which runs beneath the distillery.

Style: Single Malt.
Breeding: Aged for 15 years, first in American bourbon barrels and then finished in Sherry Pedro Ximénez barrels from Jerez de la Frontera.
Nose: Citrus softened by exuberant malt, notes of honey and nuts.
Mouth: Citrus notes in the form of grated orange peel, spices, toffee and a touch of peat.
Final: toffee and honey with a final touch of sweet orange.
