The result of this first edition of the distillery with age, is a whisky of creamy and sweet character, with notes of cereals and malt wrapped by the characteristic notes coming from the peat.

Tomintoul distillery


Tomintoul Distillery Ltd was founded in 1964 by Glasgow whisky merchants, who started making malt whisky to bottle different blended and single malts. Located in Ballindallochn, in the Speyside region of Scotland and next to the Spey River, the Tomintoul distillery is characterised by producing medium-bodied, light, gentle whiskies with malted notes, tofe and cinnamon.

Breeding: Barley malted with peat to add a smoky touch to whisky, a rare feature in a speyside. Aged ten years in ex-bourbon.

Mouth: Dry palate, with notes of peat, cheesecake and lemon, coconut and butter.


Final: End of mean persistence in which peat reigns.
