The winery is located in the Aragona Valley near Jumilla, Murcia. It belongs to the group Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares in which are also: Bodegas y viñedos Shaya, Bodega Juan Gil, Cellers Can Blau, Bodegas Tritón, Bodegas Ateca, Lagars Da Condesa, Bodegas Atalaya and Orowines.
The vineyards planted on limestone and stony soils are spread over the 44 hectares of land available to the winery at 800 meters above sea level. For the elaboration of the wine they have used the Monastrell grapes from very old vineyards, between 75 and 90 years old and the Cabernet Sauvignon.
The grapes were harvested by hand, placing the bunches in small boxes. Once the bunches arrive at the winery, the malolactic fermentation is carried out and the grapes are then aged in French and American oak barrels for a period of 22-26 months.
It is a wine that we recommend pairing with game meats, stews, entrecot, roasts, rice dishes and cured cheeses. Serve at a temperature of 18ºC.
Color: Intense cherry.
Nose: Aroma of ripe red fruits (blueberries) and notes of cocoa along with toasted.
Mouth: Bridge with a pleasant step and an elegant aftertaste.
Final: Length.
