The winery is located in the municipality of Poboleda, in the Priorat region. It was founded in 1998 and is made up of the Doix and Llagostera families, thus recovering a winemaking tradition that began in 1850.
Its vineyards located between Montsant and Serra del Molló, cover an area of 4 hectares and are planted in slate soils. They are located at an altitude of between 350 and 500 metres above sea level. The vineyards from which the Garnacha grape comes are centenary and those of Cariñena have been planted since 1902.
For the production of this wine a double selection of grapes has been made, on the one hand in the vineyards and on the other in the cellar, the grapes have been elaborated separately. Once the malolactic fermentation process is complete, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 16 months. 5,500 bottles were produced.
Score in the year 2015 with 94 points Peñín. It is a wine that we recommend pairing with game meats, stews, sirloin, rice meat and gutters. Serve at a temperature of 18ºC.
Color: Dark violet.
Nose: Ripe black fruit (raspberry, blueberry), notes of toast and mineral touches.
Mouth: Broad, potent, fresh and mineral.
