The winery is located in the municipality of San Ramón de Hornija in Valladolid. It belongs to the Vega Sicilia Group which also includes the Tokaj-Oremus and Alión wineries. Pintia has been a reference before and after in the denomination of origin Toro.
The vineyards have an area of 96 hectares, with an average age of 32 years old. With a climate of low rainfall in winter, high temperatures in spring and very high in the period d summer.
Harvesting is done manually in 12 kg boxes, once the bunches are in the winery and the grapes are selected on the table, malolactic fermetation is carried out in French and American oak barrels for 12 months.
Scored in the 2016 vintage with 95 Parker points. It is a wine that we recommend to pair with legumes, stews, sirloin, Iberian sausage, cured cheeses and game meats. Serve at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC.
