A wine made with Tempranillo from hundred-year-old vines located at 800 metres above sea level, the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels and 22 months in the bottle. It has been awarded 93 Peñín points.
The winery is located in the town of Pedrosa del Duero, within the denomination of origin Ribera del Duero. It is one of the most outstanding wineries of the new generation of Ribera del Duero.
The hundred-year-old vineyards are spread over the 35 plots that the winery has at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level. The soils are predominantly calcareous and clayey.
The grape used to make the wine was Tempranillo, queen and native of the Ribera del Duero area. It is harvested by hand, depositing the bunches in boxes of 15 kilos. Once the malolactic fermentation has taken place, it is aged in French oak barrels for 14 months and in bottles for 22 months.
Scored in 2016 with 93 Penín points. It is a wine that we recommend pairing with game meat, entrecot, grilled meat, Iberian sausage, sheep's cheese and cooked. Serve at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC.
Color: Garnet
Nose: Aromas of cassis, liquorice and ripe red fruit.
Mouth: Mature, broad and round tannins.
Final: Friendly.
