The winery is located in the outskirts of the municipality of Peñafiel province of Valladolid. Within the denomination of origin Ribera del Duero, this municipality is one of the most traditional winemaking.
Of the range of wines produced by the Pago de Carraovjas winery, ageing has become one of the most famous, sought-after wines and when it is released onto the market it is exhausted within a few months.
The vineyards are 850 meters above sea level. The estate has the privilege of having a myroclimate. On the one hand, thanks to the influence of the nearness of the river Duero and on the other hand, in the southern area the slopes of gentle slopes.
It has been elaborated with Tempranillo grapes together with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot in smaller percentage, the aging has been of 12 months in barrels of French and American oak.

It is a wine that we recommend to combine with meat, suckling pig, game, manchego cheese and Iberian sausages. Serve at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC
Color: Purple.
Nose: Aroma of sweet spices, notes of red fruits and liquorice.
Mouth: Round, structured and creamy toasted.
Final: Excellent acidity.
